Digital Designer/ Lead Branding & Signage,
Fueling Brains, Houston TX
Fueling Brains is a leading edge Ed Tech startup that specializes in Early Brain Development for children from 0-5. I was originally hired for the role of Digital Designer on the Marketing Team, but my responsibilities grew quickly to Lead Designer for both company re-branding and North American Signage projects.
I have become the creative lead alongside the Art Director, designing everything from the new company logo to social media style.
2018 - Present
Founder
My Diversity Dolls, Montreal
An ongoing project, these custom, hand-crafted, up-cycled Diversity Dolls are about embracing our differences, stimulating education through play, and challenging beauty ideals.
My goal is to create an opportunity for dialogue regarding acceptance, inclusion and love no matter someone’s appearance, ability/disability, ethnicity, religious belief or lack of, sexual orientation or any other factor besides the kindness of their soul.
2014 - 2020
Director of Operations
Casa Bianca, Montreal
As Director of Operations of this boutique hotel, I helped increase profits by 22% year over year. Putting my creative and organizational skills to work, I optimized partnerships with new suppliers, integrated with more effective third-party booking platforms, redesigned the website, and implemented a scalable internal administrative system for the team. Besides handling sales for the core business, I also launched a private events program, where I managed branding, marketing, interior design, and logistics for weddings, concerts, corporate dinners and gallery openings.
2013 - 2014
Graphic Designer, Web Account Manager
Logo Mojo by Deluxe, Montreal
As part of the Design Service team, I worked directly with clients looking to create the perfect custom logo for their brand. While in this role, I learned to excel at balancing creativity, efficiency, and communication, as customers often requested many iterations before final approval, and the business required a high output from us. During my time at Logomojo, I completed nearly 1000 logos, often managing 25+ accounts simultaneously.
2011 - 2013
2D, Concept, UX/UI Design
Sava Transmedia, Montreal
As an artist and designer at Sava Transmedia, my responsibilities included producing concept art, in-game rendered assets, corporate graphics for presentation documents and external promotional content.
I was a core contributor to the original IP Rubber Tacos - the company's first online and mobile game product.
I was also part of the UX/UI team, where I continued developing in-game assets, game flow, and monetization.
2010 - 2015
Interior, Branding & Art Direction
Pinq, Montreal
Commissioned as the interior designer for the reopening of this Montreal Bar, I was responsible for deciding all aspects of the spaces' identity. From initial footprint, layout, colour scheme, materials and lighting to art and furniture selection, I worked closely with the management team to conceptualize their vision and turn it into reality. Once launched, I stayed on as creative director, where I was responsible for delivering all the in-house branding and communication material: digital marketing content, menus, signage, stationary, merchandise and event flyers and posters.
